Indiana is seeing blue

i didn't know exactly when the best time to write this entry would be.  so much has happened in the last few days.  well, indiana is a blue state.  cnn just announced the projection after 99% of the votes were counted.  so, i guess this will do.

i guess we'll start here. http://www.theindychannel.com/education/17876444/detail.html?rss=ind&psp=news .  no, i didn't go and watch ludacris talk to kids about being good citizens.  but at the end of the day, my WONDERFUL girlfriend got me into a red bull private party where lucacris played some previews of his new album.  and it was awesome.  i was dancing my ass off and amanda was easily the finest little thang in the whole club.  she was wearing this blue dress-thing that anyone would have been priviledged to see.  then, i was taking breakdancing lessons from this dude who i've seen at other red bull events.  he's a badass.

fast forward to yesterday.  barack obama became president.  after getting up and voting, i had become a little worried.  at my particular poll location, it was about 10/1 for senior citizens.  but alas, not only did we elect a democratic president, but indiana went BLUE.  i can't believe it.  indiana hasn't been democrat since the 1960's.  it's just good to know that people can actually wake up and change when necessary.  i don't have to feel like an idiot any more.  i actually voted for bush.  i just didn't know any better.

so, today is scoop day.  and i'm ecstatic.  i love her.
